We have all settled back in well to life in Year 3. A new term has brought new topics and the children are enjoying everything.

Fitz Roy class had a great outdoor learning morning last week.

We had a super 1st week back in Year 3 and have enjoyed getting to know the teachers and adults in our new year group.

In history we our learning about the Egyptians. So far we have compared how life was in Egyptian times to how life is now. We looked at similarities and differences and then considered how this relates to the Stone, Bronze and Iron Age.

Year 3 three were lucky to have an opportunity to attend an SSCO (School Sport Co-ordinator) afternoon held at Goldington Academy.

During the Autumn term, Year 3 have learnt all about kites.

We have been super busy learning about the artist William Morris. Did you know William Morris founded his own fabric company and it is still manufacturing goods. We had someone share with us his or her baby sister’s bib, which is from Morris and Co at Next... How cool is that!
