    In history we our learning about the Egyptians. So far we have compared how life was in Egyptian times to how life is now. We looked at similarities and differences and then considered how this relates to the Stone, Bronze and Iron Age.

    This term in history we have been studying Ancient Egypt. We began by looking at a timeline of the Ancient Egyptian civilisation and we have since spent lessons looking at mummification, Tutankhamun and we even got to look at some artefacts.

    BREAD!

    At the end of last term, year 3 had a brilliant morning making bread. To make the bread, we had to combine flour, yeast and water. When we had combined these, we had to knead the dough to give the bread more structure. It was very messy!
