Yesterday we had our school trip to Woburn Safari Park. It was a fantastic experience as we got to see lots of different animals, some we had never seen before!
Welcome back to the start of a new term! We have lots of exciting things planned for this term! For example, in science we will be learning about different materials and conducting a few investigations to determine what can be altered! How exciting!
Earlier this month we completed our big piece of writing for this term. Before writing, we read lots of different stories about dragons, including: George and the Dragon, The Princess and the Paper Bag, The Dragon Machine and Tell Me a Dragon.
On Monday 17th May we had our Outdoor Learning Morning and the rain did not stop us having lots of fun out in the garden with the fabulous Mrs Griffin.
This term in Year 2, we have been learning all about food in our DT lessons. We have learnt about different food groups and what we should be putting into our bodies.
To continue with the children's online safety learning they started in Year 1, the children this week will be meeting up again with Jessie and her friends Mo and Tia.
We are currently learning about adding and subtracting in maths. Parent/carers it would be wonderful if you could practice counting, adding ten and ones and subtracting tens and ones from any number under 100 with your child at home.
