POLLOCK'S TOY MUSEUM!

Earlier this term we had a special zoom call from Pollock's Toy Museum in London. We were shown lots of different toys from the past, starting with some of the oldest toys leading up to more modern toys.

We learnt about what they were made from and who would have played with them. Did you know that children used to make their own paper toy theatres over 100 years ago and paint their characters to make their own shows?

We were amazed at how the train was able to turn on its platform! Some of us also had a chance to look at some other old toys at school and have a go at playing with them. 1D's favourite toy was the remote control car and 1P loved the teddy bear!
