GETTING FIT AT THE HILLS!
Every morning my class have a 10 minute run around our school running track.
We are very fortunate to have the track because when the grass is wet and muddy we have a lower risk of falling over and hurting ourselves.
Sine we hve been in quarantine for 4 months, the children at the Hills, and around the country, have been outside less so having this run is helping the pupils to exercise more and build up their fitness again as we are not just sitting down in lessons.
In Year 5 we have a 30 second run and then a 1 minute walk. Its not just about exercising it's about having fun and building up your stamina. It doesn't matter who's the fastest, every pupil should just have fun , whether they are sporty or not...Having a run around the track is a fun way to get outside for everyone :)
