Week commencing Monday 20th March 2017

Welcome back to our Reception weekly blog!

Well, despite the weather, we have had a really good week in Bromham. We think we sent home some very tired children on Friday - we estimated that on most days the children had walked over two miles a day! The children have been amazing and have been willing to participate in all that has been asked of them.  We have been shape orienteering, creating kites, running races, building a campfire, making chocolate nests and creating spider webs as well as just enjoying our natural environment and the freedom to explore it!  We would love to hear your children's views on their visit to Bromham so that we can continue to improve the experience for them.  So, over the weekend, it would be great if the children could tell you what they did and didn't enjoy about their Outdoor Discovery Week experience and you could relay this information to us.

Next week our book focus will be, 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' and our mathematics will focus on 3D shapes.  We will also be creating Easter cards (should you prefer your child to celebrate spring rather than Easter then please let us know).
