A huge thank you to all those of you who helped make Ice Pop Fridays a success! It proved to be very popular and we sold out nearly every week! Whether you bought an ice pop or two, carried a table, designed a poster or lent us your scissors all your contributions were valuable and helped raise over £200 towards books for school!

If you would like to see more events like this or think that you could run this event next year, only bigger and better, then we’d love you to get involved.

Our dedicated chairperson, Mrs Griffin, along with a number of other equally committed, long-serving committee members will be stepping down from the committee in September.

Whilst they deservedly step back, we need more people to step up and there will be a number of vacancies on the committee.

**Save the date** and come along to the PTA AGM 25th September 2019 to find out more.

You don’t have to be on the committee to be involved. There are always a variety of ways to support PTA events from offering raffle prizes, to lending an ice-box or just giving up 30 minutes of your time to help clear up after an event. It is fun and rewarding, a great way to get to know staff and parents and children love seeing their parents get involved.

Selling ice pops each week raised over £40 in just twenty minutes. If everyone could just spare 30 minutes a term to help just think what we could achieve!
