parent Carer forum update.
It’s been a busy week this week, we held our first drop-in session on Monday with practitioners and we had a great turnout from parents who managed to have a 1-1 with the practitioners. Due to it’s success we will be running another one on Monday 19th June and we are just waiting for confirmation of which practitioners will be attending. Please keep your eye out for bookings information.
We also held some training on Autism and Sensory Processing on Tuesday morning which was very well received by those parents who attended.
Cambridge Community Services have asked if five Parent Carers whose child is on the waiting list for the Child Development Centre in Kempston would like to attend a pilot training session as per the attached flyer. The sessions will be on Wednesday 22nd March 1pm or Thursday 23rd March 11am.
If you would like to take part in either of these sessions, please reply to BBPCF communications@bbpcf.org.uk and we will arrange to book you a place. It would be great if some of our parent carers could attend to help co-produce this training for other families going forwards.
