In design and technology, we have been learning about healthy and unhealthy food. Most recently we made a healthy salad using healthy fruits or vegetables of our choice!
In Year 2, we will be learning about plants and what they need to grow. Last lesson, we all planted our own sunflower seeds. We will be keeping a diary to record our observations of its growth over the next 5 weeks!
On Monday 4th July, Year Two stepped back in history, learning what a Victorian classroom was like. Mr Stephen Knight, an actor with Classroom Adventures and Sir Teach-A-Lot came into school to give children an immersive experience of what a Victorian school would be like.

Yesterday we had our school trip to Woburn Safari Park. It was a fantastic experience as we got to see lots of different animals, some we had never seen before!
Welcome back to the start of a new term! We have lots of exciting things planned for this term! For example, in science we will be learning about different materials and conducting a few investigations to determine what can be altered! How exciting!
Earlier this month we completed our big piece of writing for this term. Before writing, we read lots of different stories about dragons, including: George and the Dragon, The Princess and the Paper Bag, The Dragon Machine and Tell Me a Dragon.
