OUTDOOR LEARNING WEEK!

This week,  reception have enjoyed learning outside for three mornings. We were so proud of all the children as they were able to adapt their routine and enjoyed every moment, even when the weather wasn't that kind to us and we found ourselves out in the rain!

The children enjoyed a variety of activities including: making bird feeders out of apples and sunflower seeds, planting cress seeds, exploring the Robin's garden, playing parachute games, completing a scavenger hunt on the field and climbing around the trim trail course.

The clear favourite activity was the time spent in the Robin's garden. The children enjoyed playing in the mud kitchen and making lots of different sounds with the instruments on the music wall. But most of all, the children just loved spending quality time with their friends - something which they have clearly missed after the recent lockdown.
