If you go down to the woods today…. 

We have completed our Outdoor Learning Day at Bromham Woods. It was so much fun and the weather was lovely. It didn’t rain and it wasn’t too windy which meant we could really explore the woods and have lots of fun! 

We had to complete 3 different activities. We made rangoli leaf patterns, linked to Diwali, which we had lots of great ideas and worked well together to create some fantastic pieces of work. Then we had a scavenger hunt and we had to look for the objects and tick them off. We had to prove this too so we couldn’t just tick, though we did try too! Then we had to write our names and find the natural materials to spell out our names. This was fun but it was very sticky and messy! We had lots of free time to explore the woods, working together in play, building our language skills, describing where we were and what we could see and hear. 

We had lots of fun and enjoyed our time.
